High Cube Open Top Containers

ISG is the Global market leader in the design and manufacture of High Cube Open Top Containers (rotainers) for a wide range low density dry bulk cargo such as grains, urea, suplhur, biomass, and many other dry materials.

This high cube open top container has been designed, manufactured and tested for operation with Rotating Spreaders (Tipplers), and is suitable to be rotated 360 degrees to discharge the cargo.

The High Cube Container still comes with all of ISG unique features such as our Patented Hard lid and Special Flow Gussets on the corner castings. The container is certified to BK2 requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Dangerous Goods Code. (IMDG Code 2018)

High Load Rates

The high cube container allows ports and warehouses to load and discharge low density cargo in efficient loading rates.
The high internal volume of the container means that when used with a Rotating spreader, the loading rate can be very efficient, and competitive when compared to exiting silos, stockpiles and ship loaders.

Intermodal Portable Storage and Loading

The high cube container can used on road, rail and sea, without double handling the cargo. The container be integrated into existing logistic chains, that previously required wagons or trucks to be unloaded and the cargo transferred to silos or warehouses for storage.

The container replaces the silos and warehouses and keeps the cargo safe from moisture. In the case of wood chips and wood pellets the container also reduces the risk of explosions but splitting the cargo into smaller individual parcels.

Roof hatches can be included in the container lid, allowing the container to remain on rail wagons and be loaded via existing overhead loadout facilities.
